Pentax K-X in May "Popular Photography"

The cover of the subscriber's edition has a K-X at bottom left with these blurbs:

Nice! I'll have to go pick up a copy. It's good to see that some magazines are also getting the idea that the K-x is pretty much the best DSLR there is.

Pop Photo sometimes gets a bad rap for being overly zellus on the big two. I they do try hard to appear unbiased in their reviews. They do give Pentax gear very good reviews. They also are quick to point out any short comings in every camera they review including their camera of the year. So I'll be anxious to read the K-X review.

I've read their review of the K-m and it was very favorable.
the k-7 didn't get much love though.

Of course not, the K-7 is now considered to be an inferior camera, despite being so highly regarded when it was first released. The K-x kind of took the thunder away from it.

IMO he's right. Not to mean it os right to consider k-7 an inférior camera (I don't) but many only consider sensor and price.

Maybe they're referring to the fact that it's based in some ways on the K-m.

if your only criteria are the sensor and its capabilities regarding noise and high ISO, then yes. but there are a hell of a lot of reasons to consider the k-7 the superior camera. you opinion is your opinion, but dont try and make it come off as a hard fact.
