Sorry if I have posted any of these already in this thread. I just felt like posting some GXR photos and I haven't been shooting with the GXR enough lately.

Another photo I unearthed from the vault of when I covered Rick Perry (pre-collapse) in Iowa City.

Here's one when I covered kids doing a dress rehearsal for a spring play.

Here's an environmental portrait of the new high school principal for a story.

Also, some great photos from the previous posts above me. You guys are tempting me to buy more the other two A12 units.

I'm not sure if anyone is interested in the A16 24-85 zoom unit, but I was struck by the quality in this image. (also a cute kid photo). I guess the sharpness is due to a lack of AA filter.

Very sharp indeed! I believe the lack of AA filter is the reason why.

Here are some more sample pics from the zoom module: 2656-120219 GXR+A16???????!!: shiology

I saw this shot while looking on Flickr. I really liked the sharpness and the contrast and the color. I question those familiar with the GXR whether this is more just post processing or is this typical of the output. I guess I got so used to every image being B&W that this one stood out.

I would say that performance is pretty standard. Both A12 units produce pretty sharp and high contrast images right out of the camera.
