Absolutely stunning!

As for me, I'm still trying to figure out how to properly use this thing.

Thanks! It does have a learning curve given all it can do and how customizable the interface is ... When I first picked up the GRDIII I was fiddling for a good while, but using one of those for so long makes the GR a fairly easy transition, but I still find things I've not used before, or ways of doing things in a different way.

One thing I'm noticing is that the white balance on my GRD3 tends towards the pinkish at times:

Hmm. Mine doesnt seem to do that. Have you done something in settings? eg, Your own Setting1 and Setting2 can have colour adjustment... Just a thought.

It's possible, though it's generally not anything that's so off that it can't be fixed. I'll have to go through and see what I've set for it. (Though that last shot I increased the pinkish a bit in post, so it's not really representative.)

That said, photos! I spent a good portion of today prowling around alleys and shooting graffiti with the GRD3:

Those last two the WB tint slider in LR was at +23 and +22, respectively, until I decreased it in to get a more natural colour. (Though taking a look at a shot of the wall in the 3rd photo that I took with my K-30 so as to record the GPS coordinates, I see it chose a tint of +16. So it should at least be slightly magenta-weighted.)

GRD IV, in Manila's harsh mid-afternoon light:

GRD IV, Baguio City, Philippines:

GRD IV + GW-2, Manila, Philippines

GRD IV, I usually prefer monochrome, but sometimes I like how some images turn out in color:

Cheers.

Love that last one. Colours are perfect in it.

Some more from the GRD3 (cross-posted from the monthly single challenge photo group):

A little faux-HDR post processing. This is also a severe crop of a river that was nearly 100 feet below from where it was shot.

Still using my GRD3, though it's showing quite a few hot pixels these days.

Had to rescue this image from my own stupidity, as I had it set to fixed ISO and WB based on some indoors shooting I had been doing the other week. Thankfully the highlights weren't too blown as to be unrecoverable.

Great pics in this thread. Im very keen to get a Grd. Possibly one of the ccd models. maybe its imagination but it feels like the III and IV have gone up in asking price over recent months. Relative to the V.
