Ricoh GXR + A16 users' feedback

I have a chance to buy a Ricoh GXR + A16 16MP APS-C module. I'd like to hear from owners of this combo. Thanks.

Don't you hate it when you reply your own post....

Well, no responses, but I couldn't resist the temptation. So here it is, mated with my old Metz 32Z-2.

The camera feels solid. Initial testing shows excellent IQ. The photos at high ISO (1600-3200) are very usable.

I just ordered one, I will post here once I play with it. How are you like yours?

IQ is excellent. IQ is noticeably better than my K7 + DA* 16-50.

Noise is very well controlled. I wouldn't hesitate to use it at ISO 1600.

Of course it's slower than the DA* 16-50, but you just can't have it all.

Get a copy of LC-3 and a 55-43mm stepdown adapter ring.

Thanks, I can't wait to use it.

How do you like the A12? I was torn between the two. I still may pick up one or the 50mm.

I got my new GXR and love it so far. Took it out for its first major test and I am very pleased!

NO AA filter. The lens is sharp. The sharpness is like K-5IIs level.

Have you guys tried to shoot video with the A16 yet? Is it any good? Usable, even?
