Went out to Gloucester, Rockport, and Halibut Point State Park today. These are all SOOC.

I'm consistenly impressed with the images from the GR. It really looks like a nice landscape machine and does close-ups very nicely too. Pretty unique for such a small camera... I'll have to go look for a good deal on one.

Alright... That settles it... I am going to buy this camera some day... I am so so so pleased with its images. Wow! What sharpness, what contrast, what color! I see why there is a huge following. I would only ask for one addition... Weather sealing. Other than that... Holy cow. I gotta have one of these.

With big sensor and compact body, the GR can go with me everywhere without worrying about size, weight or IQ.

In addition, I can attach a fixed normal/tele lens on my K-3 and use the GR as a second body with wide lens, so I will not worry about lens changing anymore.

i'm going to ask it in this thread because it seems to be the one with the most sample pics:

with both Adorama and B&H offering excellent deals on the GR, i'm really tempted. but which free accessory is the one to go for? not having used a GR, is the external viewfinder a big gain for composition or is the rear screen good enough? and how good is the package with a flash? with an 18mm lens, are you guys finding the onboard flash sorely lacking and does the hotshoe flash do what you need it to do, including accurate exposure (something of an issue on my k5)?

I don't own one... Yet.. But personally the flash would not be an accessory I would go for with this camera. I believe it sort of defeats the purpose, Small, Light Weight, General Purpose Camera. The best way to answer this question is to ask your self how will you use this camera. I think the eye piece is the most obvious accessory to buy.
