Someone with a sense of humour I chose the caption "Let me out! Spring is coming..."

The Bergen Railway Line at its highest point crossing the mountains from Oslo to Bergen. It was completed in 1909 at a huge monetary cost (about half the governemt budget that year) and was an engineering challenge with all the bridges and tunnels needed, as well as tackling the cold and the deep snow. The surveying of the line property took six years, the construction of the line itself another eight years. The tunnel shown here was opened in 1993 and built to avoid the stretch of line that was most encumbered with snow and harsh weather. The highest point of the line is actually inside the tunnel.

Nice! Looks like a good walk, those cuts down into the canyon look interesting.

Been working on in-camera conversions. BW is special with this camera:

Converted to b/w with Nik's Silver Efex. I thought the resulting image got a futuristic feel to it.

I was just playing around with auto-bracketing at about 1.5 stops and using LR Enfuse for the time. Blending has never been a look I like but I've been considering trying some real estate work thrown my way. This quick snap was with the 20mm conversion lens which is still not wide enough for that sort of work, but nonetheless, I was just impressed (as I always have been since the beginning) with the GR's IQ and versatility.

The blending looks to have worked well - should be just the thing for real estate shooting unless you want to get into more or less sophisticated flash setups. And yes, the fantastic lens of the GR makes this camera incredibly versatile.

Just a quick snapshot from my evening walk.

The Ricoh has been for several years now, my go-to for shots of items For-Sale, or just casual product type shots... as is the case here. So small and wide and fast enough to hand-hold in good light which makes quick shots like this easy... keeping me from pulling out the DSLRs and tripods with more "suitable" lenses. This is a cross-post from the Gear-Porn thread in the Film Slr Subforum.

Some stuff from Vietnam. Feeling a bit out of sync with the camera after so much phone shooting...
