Some more "orange" themed shots. Nothing spectacular but showing some of the versatility of this little gem

Between two world... one of my favorite shooters, shot by another of my favorite shooters. So far apart, and yet I love them both so.

I particularly like the second to last. A classic "wet street scene b&w".

That's a beauty! I'm sure I would absolutely love shooting with one - the view finder must be a dream! - but I really can't see myself going back to film. I'm way too lazy for that

The viewfinder is stupendous - only the LX is better of the cameras I own. Actually affordable medium format cameras are what brought me back to film (I only shot 135 format back in the day), a Pentacon Six to be exact, about 5 or 6 years ago and I slowly drifted back to shooting mostly film. Probably about 90% the past 4 years or so. I had just bought a K-3 months before and the GR not long after. I continued to use the GR sparingly, but the poor K-3 I'm sure began to wonder what it had ever done.
Anyhow.... there's simply nothing, photographically speaking, better than the reveal of a 6x7 slide on the light table for the first time from a fresh roll. Digital is wonderful, but the simplicity of film has won me back over for certain.

A year or two ago I actually "scanned" a number of 6x7 slides with the GR. Turned out FAR better than I anticipated.

Stop that, will ya!

Some more GR shots from this month. It's the perfect camera for the Daily challenge.

Nice streets. Really reminded me of a GRIII shot of mine from years ago in Sydney.

Slightly reworked a shot from a good while back, about a year after getting the GR.

Was digging around in the photo vaults tonight and found a GR gem to work on...
