beautiful country and shots..

Here's my recent (all from January) GR II shots

Had to clone out the first name to "fix" it to my liking. And have to wonder how many people notice the spelling 'abnormality' in this sign, and if it was intentional or not haha...

Thanks, it's just 3-4 km from here as the crow flies. Yet, we're just a 10 minute bus/metro/train ride from the city centre.

I really need to get going with the camera again...

You should ask that Todd fella!

The wide angle adapter wouldn't help all that much, then. Well done keeping all those lines straight!

Some silly shots.

Yeah it doesn't help when I leave it at home and most times when I do manage to bring it I'm too lazy to get it out of the pouch and put the adapter on... This GR convenience addiction is really bad for me!

GR - the disruptive camera!

Some more shots - from well within the city limits, actually.

Dear friends, it is a long full year since my last post on this thread. I have been using the GR II a lot. And I love it. I believe I will keep it until it breaks. And I sincerely hope that Ricoh explores the path of high quality compact cameras. They do this fine. Shall Fujifilm be a great source of inspiration and let's hope that some day we will see Ricoh 35mm and 50mm equivalent cameras too.

Sorry, mates, for the long post. This is my most loved material in a year. Keep on the great work you all!

Umm, please, no. That would be evil. Too hard to resist.

Long post? Where?

Wonderful images. My favourites are probably the boy running through the pool of light, and the puddle reflection in the second picture. I would have been happy to shoot any one of them, though.

I know what you mean, Savoche. I really hope they never develop a full-frame compact camera with a 50mm f2 collapsible lens!

Thanks for the nice comments. I must also mention that I am totally sold on the Positive film preset. I am almost using RAW anymore.

Your shots aren't loading for me. Loading now. Nice work!

And another merciless dump of some of my GR2 snaps from this Mad March thus far...

Still no total lockdown here in the Netherlands. I can still photograph and luckely the places I go is of no interest for nobody, so we all can stay safe.

There are a lot less people than normal out on the streets in Oslo, too, but not like this. I keep thinking I should use the opportunity to get some images from places that are normally crowded.
