I like Ned and was sad to see him go. I wonder if his tenure was under Ricoh's leadership, would he have been able to influence HQ more than he was able to do with Hoya?
The comparison is pretty good and the images look solid from both the K-30 and the GR. Both have 12-bit RAW I believe, so it's possibly the same sensor in both the cameras from my vantage point. Upside is that the sensor is great and it keeps production costs down for Ricoh Pentax. Plus when I finally get the GR, I don't have to swap hd's in my computer :-)
