It appears that the merger of PENTAX-Ricoh, beside getting the TAv from PENTAX, Ricoh also do the customization thingy.

???????????&?????PENTAX RICOH IMAGING

Now you can "accessorize" the shutter button, top plate, grip, and the front ring...

I prefer a color grip option than the wooden grip, the light blue color that the new K-01 got is pretty cool! I hope customer can change this by themselves and not have to special order it (can't read Jap, so not sure how it is done).

I like the stealth look of default GR, but silver top and silver ring looks nice, too.

Got my GR after almost two month wait ,

I am in love . better IQ then my DSLR , lens insane sharp, easy to use no study needed , you hold it and you get it . focal length is natural .

beyond my wildest expectation!

will post some pictures and more thoughts after a week of shooting , but out of the box I am in love
