How did this happen?

My GR took this picture but I am not sure how the blurriness happened on the top and bottom. It seems like tilt shift or something, anyone have any ideas?

Looks like you had the "Miniaturize" option of the Effect menu activated. But the activation of this option should be clearly visible on the display. So I'm wondering ...

And yeah, that looks a fair bit like miniaturize from my old nikon

I don't know, but I don't think so.

Maybe you accidentally pressed the Effect button on the left of the camera and, thereby, somehow activated the Miniaturize option.
