Add a viewfinder. An integrated one, that is.

I would like a 50mm (equivalent) version for general street & portrait work.

It's a really good camera as it is. Perhaps they could make a version with a longer FL.

Also, the interface could be improved slightly (simplified & streamlined).

The GR is what it is, but a viewfinder would be icing on the cake!
.....and a FF sensor would probably be too much to ask for....

I find the focal length to be ideal for me for what I'm using it for.

PS, my son will be visiting Lithuania next month....any tips for travel over there?

I wouldn't, it's already perfect.

I hope it is, otherwise it means Ricoh will find a way to improve it and I will have to buy it

That said, the 24Mp K-3 sensor would be nice for the crop modes, i.e. 15Mp for 35mm and 9Mp for 50mm.

I would buy it on the spot if Ricoh would get rid of the collapsible lens, making it a fixed lens with an aperture (or multi-function) ring and able to receive a filter without an adaptor, make the whole package WR = no more dusty sensor, give up the popup flash and put in an optical viewfinder (21mm FOV with 28mm guide lines, AF confirmation light, under/over exposure indicator) instead. Provide a nice leader case in the package and it will get 6 stars on a scale of 5!

Simple ;-) ... but I better keep dreaming.

Agreed. Would think about getting one for convention photography.

Any pocket big enough to carry the weight of the GR is also big enough to accommodate the extra 1cm of the lens. Not sure I understand this desire to fit a P&S the size of the GR into a jeans' pocket. I doubt that the vast majority actually do that, but rather put the camera into a small belt-bag of sort, a purse or other small bag.

When I'm just going out for a wander I usually stick the GR in the pocket of the jeans, I don't always want to be carrying a bag. The fact that you can do this comfortably with the GR was actually one of the main reasons I bought it rather than an X100s or RX1.

Adding 1cm to the body would rule out the jeans, and then I'd be back to my iPhone for walkabout photography.

^ I agree with the above. Any increase in size would make it unpocketable for the type of jeans I wear; it barely fits in my jean pockets as is (us skinny twenty somethings wear well fitted jeans, you know :P). If anything, I'd like a successor to be smaller, though I doubt that's possible since everything is crammed in already. This rules out a viewfinder & a fixed lens with a focus ring. If anyone wants either of these things, why not just get a Fuji X100s or its successor? Ricoh GR's form factor was 90% of the reason why I, and I'm sure others, purchased this camera.

That being said, here's a few improvements I'd like:
- Faster autofocus in low light
- Larger burst rate buffer
- Stabilized lens (is this possible with the form factor?)
- A 'P' mode that more accurately reflects the Pentax DSLRs; ie: the front wheel would be 'Tv' mode & the back wheel would force 'Av' mode. Actually, does the GR already do this & I don't know it?
- Next generation sensor: the K-3 sensor would be nice, but by the time this is out we'll probably have something better?

I also agree with having two versions of different focal lengths.

It says a lot to how great the Ricoh GR is that I can only list 5 improvements.
