GR goes to Bicycle Heaven

I don't post much, but I took the GR to Bicycle Heaven in Pittsburgh and thought this worthy of sharing. The museum claims to have the largest collection of bikes in the world. I believe it !!! A really fun place & the owner Craig is a great guy.

Whew, For a moment there I thought you had had a traffic mishap and took person, conveyance, and camera to a two-wheel enthusiast's Great Beyond... but wait... 'how did he send the email?' Hmm... I guess Pittsburgh is close enough to "Almost heaven..." geographically. And only about a hundred miles away from where I am. We in Ohio just don't have the funny accent. Thanks for the tip; I'll have to get over there with the K3 and DA15, FA20, plus FA31 and check that out someday in the not too distant future.

Ah... much nicer than what I suspected from the title.

This is what "bicycle heaven" means here in Toronto:
Bike thief Igor Kenk released from jail | Toronto Star

As my sixth grade teacher, Miss D****p, used to say to your question, "Behind the 'at'." That would have cost you a nickel... fifty some years ago. Things were very much "Strunk & White" in those days.

The Pennsylvania state visitors and tourists authority -- whatever they call themselves -- is absolutely fabulous in getting you information; in my past experience, exceeding all expectations. Friendly on the phone, too. Also, 'Pittsburgh' magazine will keep you well informed by email. Cheers.

I don't think I have ever seen so many bicycles in one place. They sure have a lot of $$$$$ invested in their inventory. TFS.

It's on the North Side in the vicinity of the casino. Kind of hard to find but good directions are at Welcome to Bicycle Heaven

Thanks. Sounds easy enough, I'll find it. I was seriously thinking about getting a GR and the converter for a wide angle option. What ,is your opinion of it?

@6bender... Oh, gee, thanks for the courtesy note. I was mobile with a poor connection to the net, and all my previous contacts with the PA state entity in question were and are locked up in a PC with a broken power supply. Prompted by your kind words, I have explored further now and think that visitPA.com is where someone with a modicum of initiative could find the folks I was referring to. If you are having any difficulties discerning the meaning of "modicum", which I concede is an infrequently used word in some folk's active vocabulary, just toss me another insult, and maybe I can help.
