Looks like there is no update this year for GR in plans.
I hoped for faster lens or biger megapixels count.
Oh well, that would be next year than.

The previous generations of the GR have been consistently updated every 2 years (2013, 2011, 2009, 2007...), so I would expect the new GR next year.

I am fine with that as the GR moved the Ricoh range into a different league! A 40mm lens would be nice but not essential.

They will likely update it next year. Not sure what they can add. We don't need more megapixels.

I would say what we need is only a 50mm adapter lens - and it would be a perfect all-round camera ;-) GPS too would be nice, but not essential. WIFI? No real need.

I was hoping for an update, if only for the eventual price drop on the current GR. That camera's value is very steady compared to other cameras.
