GR with Wide Converter

I am seriously considering a GR + Wide converter.
What are your thoughts of this combo? IQ-wise, do you feel it replaces a 14mm lens, or is it more of a "last resort" kind of item?

Thanks!

Well, the wide converter only takes it to 21mm, so no...

It's very, very good, though!

I am pretty sure that the 14mm lens on a Pentax APS-c camera is a field of view equivalent to a 21mm lens. So, same. Remember, the lens on the GR is an 18mm which is approx a 28mm in 35mm film speak. I think maybe what the OP was asking had to do with image quality... As in, does the wide adaptor degrade or change the quality of the photo in anyway.

I wish I knew from the first hand knowledge and delight of GR ownership, but I am waiting and hoping for the price to drop a touch.

Ah, sorry. I don't really think about APS-C conversions anymore.
