Has anyone ever purchased one of these(Gariz XS-CHGRBKR XS-CHGRBR) for their GR?

I tis quite a great case, however, you might want to be careful before ordering since some customers reported a "nag" to the battery door in some specific camera models.
Here I am talking about other-than-GR cameras (Fuji's for instance) ... here's what you can read about it: Fuji X-E1 Leather Half Case Gariz XS-CHXE1BR - X-E1 and X-E2 Discussion - Fuji X Forum
Of course, you may have better luck with the GR if it fits perfectly.

Myself I have a leather half case for my Fuji XE-2 and it fits perfectly with no problem for the battery door.
I had almost clicked the button to buy the Garitz but read some comments beforehand ... hence my choice.
It is not the Garitz but certainly just as "luxurious".
It is a "TP Original" , sells for about $40.00 and it is available all over the places, including eBay of course.

Gariz makes nice, but expensive, accessories for many cameras. I was close to getting one of their cases for the original Q, but then saw the official Pentax one (just as nice, and cheaper), alas they are both discontinued and really hard to find.

I have a similar Gariz 1/2 case for my Nikon Df, and it's a great case. Beautiful, functional, well put together. Haven't had any issue with the battery door.

Good that it fits your Df.
I was reporting those who had battery door problems with the Garitz case.
I would undoubtedly buy one if that wasn't an issue for me !

I have that Gariz half case for my GR, and it's awesome. No issues for me and it pairs extremely well with the red ring.

Envious -- I cannot find a single source anywhere that has them in stock anymore for the GR.
