disable or lock exposure compensation?

I can't find any menu option, so I'm assuming it's impossible, but I find the exposure compensation to be an ergonomic irritant. It's constantly being changed unintentionally.

Am I missing a setting somewhere to shut this off or repurpose the rocker switch?

Which camera & mode are you using?
When I'm either in Av (most of the time) and Tv, I have to push the EV comp. button and turn the dial in order to change exposure compensation...
I rarely change it at all, and almost never by accident.

GR V in either Av or Tv. There's no dial to turn. It's just a rocker. Up increases exposure and down decreases it.

That's why it didn't make sense to me... I thought you were talking about the K-5 which is listed in your gear list (the GR is not)...
I'm not familiar with that particular model, unfortunately...

it seems that they agree that it can be a nuisance, especially in live view...
