is Ricoh abandoning the GR?

Just signed up for the "official" Ricoh/Pentax forum and I notice there is no sub forum for the GR. Here are the only categories available:

Gear Talk (7 Items)

DSLR
Medium Format
WG World
Classic and Retired Models
PENTAX Lenses
Sport Optics
Software

Thoughs?

I doubt it. It was back ordered for the first few months, so it's obviously a success.

They might just not have created a forum yet.

Well, I'm not seeing the GR in the "Classic and Retired Models" subforum, so that's a good sign.

The Ricoh GR is the what made Ricoh name in the industry. In no way they abandon it.

A new GR model has been consistently coming out every 2 years, so I'd expect a new one in 2015.

Also, whoever set up that forum clearly doesn't have the experience that we do when it comes to categorization

Ricoh USA does not have a long history of competence. If something looks wrong it's probably a mistake, not some subtle strategy.

Doubt it. Pretty sure they're going to use what ever new tech they got from Pentax & add some things to the next model(s) that'll be coming out soon.
