Dust in GR?

Just ordered a used ricoh GR from B&H. How can I check to see if it has dust once I get it? I will use belt pouch so future dust isn't a concern for me...

Take a test photo of the sky at F16. There shouldn't be any dust on the sensor out of the box, but as with any camera, it can accumulate over time so you may eventually need to get it serviced. Carrying it in a clean case rather than your pocket and storing it inside a cabinet are good long-term preventative measures
