Ricoh GR with GW-2

I have heard that it is possible to use the GW-2 on the Ricoh GR (via GH-3 plus stepdown ring).
I still have the GW-2 from my old GRD4.
Does anybody on the forum have experience with this set up?
Will the GW-2 perform as good as the GW-3 on the GR?

Thnaks for advice!

I have the GH-3/GW-1 combo with a step down ring (same setup as found on this website http://cannedelf.com/phoblog/2014/2/9/ricoh-gr-gh-3-adapter-ring-gw-1
It is actually really acceptable, sometimes a little bit of vignetting, but nothing major.
Have fun ;-)

A couple if days ago i also bought some Hoya 49mm close-up filters. And it actually works with the GR :-)
