Thanks for posting these. They are wonderful. I really like the shot in which the participants are red with the haze. There is a pole near center of the photo with one white cloth being held towards the foreground.

As an aside that event should be quite the test for the sensor dust issues some have. You should do a white wall shot at f16 to see how it held up.

Fantastic shots! And brave. Did you do anything to protect the camera? I suspect dust (or dye) would only be a problem if you're constantly opening and closing the lens. But still...you're right amongst the action there.

Thank you Indy. And yes, I have dust issue even before this event. But in these shots you won't be able to see that. I have to do a lot of cleanup in landscapes. I will share one white wall pic at f16 and show you how it is. For this event the camera was completely covered.

i used the GH-3 with a cheap UV filter, couple of zip lock bags and lots of tape. Some image of the before / after packed camera. It's not only color powder that's a problem here, there is buckets of water thrown at you too.
