Please i need help,


I was wondering if accessories like gw-1 and GH-1 are compatible with GR 2 2015 can they be used at all on this camera. Found them as a good deal but do not know if they will work / operate at all with Ricoh GR2 ?

I believe the accessories you mentioned are for the GRD I and GRD II.

For the GR/GR II you'll want the GV-1/GV-2 (viewfinders) and GW-3 (wide conversion lens). The old viewfinders can probably be used too, if you don't mind a slight discrepancy in angle of view.

No, the older extension tube will not work on the GR or GR2 - the thread is smaller. You need the newest hood. It's possible to use the older conversion lenses but you'll get some very soft edges and vignetting at best. I occasionally use the GT-1 mounted on my GR via GH-3 and a step-down ring - it's fun to use but is definitely noticeable (extreme softness around the edges) at wider apertures.
