Hi, so thank you everyone for the wonderful thread on this forums about replacing the GR screen. Thanks to that thread I could find the part and now I am ready to replace it. "The problem is" I have the first GR the limited edition, the green one. So instead of rubber grips it has hard plastic or what ever it is...grips.

So how can I remove the grips, or is there any other way to take the back panel off so I can replace my screen? Thanks!

Whatever you do, be careful! It would be a shame for something to go wrong with such a special camera. Let us know how it goes!

Hi Edgar David, did you manage to get to the screw underneath the ebony grip? If so do you have any tips? I'm equally perplexed and keen to try and fix a dust spot.
