GR II on/off button?

A while back I sold my GR, but I missed it so I just took delivery of a new GR II from B&H. Everything works as expected but the on-off switch seems odd. I push it and it turns on then turns right back off. If I hold it a split second longer, it will stay on. Is this normal?

No it doesn't sound normal. At least mine doesn't do this. If it is new just get it replaced.
