GR III - now available for sale at popular stores...

The Ricoh GR III is now available for sale for $899 which I guess is a fair price given the Fuji X100F costs a whopping $1300. Many will prefer the 28mm FF equivalent lens, some will not. I am interested to see if the wide-angle attachment from the older GRs work on this, because I love the world at 21mm...

It's a fairly competitive launch price IMO. The GR/GR II were able to out-live its competitors in the long term, and I'm sure the same will hold here (assuming the camera is as great as its predecessors ).

Points well taken, especially if the autofocus is good and fast, if it has the KP sensor and processor (or similiar!), and a new wide angle adapter is in fact forthcoming...

Curses!
I just (re)saw your sticky GR/GRII thread at the top of this subforum and for a minute or two thought the price had dropped $100 for the GRIII .... was about to cancel my Amazon pre-order.
Good thing I scrolled down and saw myself in the comments, six years ago. Hahah
