not pocketable anymore, because no more retractable lens (something like fuji x100v)
That would be too high a price to pay and also take away its USP. Im not sure it isnt doable, but then again they would have tried sooner perhaps

Yes, those would be good things. When I think about another GR, I come back to improvements on the existing because it's hard to think about giving up the GRIII. There have to be enough issues addressed to make it a compelling upgrade.

Daytime long exposure (30 seconds) with 10 stop nd + 2 stop built in. The built in nd is super useful to adapt to changing light without screwing in another filter.
With wide angle converter

I've been neglecting my GRiii lately so we went for a little small town touring adventure. All are High Contrast B&W with a little extra processing in post. A couple were shot out of the window as I drove slowly by :-)

I like these, documenting smalltown and rural environs is something I truly enjoy.

Nice work and these are sharp ! It remains an incredible camera for its diminutive size.

It’s something that I had been thinking about for awhile as a long term project. This was a trial run of sorts and I enjoyed it. These are a a mix from a couple different towns and some backroads.

It’s a camera that I can walk around with and not be obvious. A couple of towns and I was the only one walking around while the locals eyed me from golf carts or their back yards. No one at all on the town streets on a Sunday afternoon. The sharpness of the lens is amazing. For this I stuck on on f/8 @ 1/250 and let the ISO adjust as needed, F8 and be there as they say.
