All the flashes should work, and all the third party wireless triggers for Pentax should work too, Kengai!

The LightPix Labs FlashQ Q20II is great. Can use on camera and off camera. The flash head charges via USB, the flash uses regular AA batteries or can be charged via USB if rechargeable batteries are used.

im not an experienced photographer, not by far, using a flash is a new thing to me,but,What I can say is that the flash unit communicates well with GRIII and the functionality changes when you change the flash modes, for example when you switch to red eye the behavior changes. From the point of view of communication between them it works, if you have specific questions and things to test just let me know!

Wish that Ricoh would develop a flash like the type Olympus made for the great black clamshell Olympus XA A11 35mm Rangefinder Film Camera. The Olympus A11 Flash is even the exact size to nest on the side of the GR III.
That little beauty was always in my pocket, and it served me in the 80s exactly like the GR III does for a K3 II
