Hello all,

I have been trying to set up my camer to auto display a photo just taken. I cant seem to be able to find it anywhere in the menus nor an answer online.

Put another way, I would like to not have to press the playback button each time.

Seems an odd thing not to be able to do.

Hi,
from GR II manual:

Select [Off], [0.5 seconds], [1 second], [2 seconds], [3 seconds], or [Hold] in [LCD Confirmation Time] of the [Setup] menu to choose how long an image is displayed on the picture display after shooting. When set to [Hold], the image remains displayed until the next time you press the shutter release button halfway or turn the mode dial.

Compared to my other cameras with the GR I enjoy not fully knowing what I "got" before I sit down in front of the computer. This surprise element and relaxed capture style is something that's made me like the GR even more.

I fully understand why you would want instant preview however. Just offered an anecdote about the advantages of no viewing shots.
