GRII vs GRIII viewfinder visibility in outdoor, sunny conditions?

Can anyone who has used both cameras tell me if there was an improvement in the screen brightness in sunny conditions?
Thanks,
Bruce B.

I believe the III models have a faster access to the outdoor view level adjustment of the LCD, as does the K-1.

What ever you do put on a good anti glare screen protector. I use them on both my Grii and Griii and they work really well.

I was outside today in really bright, sunny conditions with the GRIII. The screen stays very visible even in the brightest conditions. I find the screen brighter compared to the GRII. BUT: The battery will be exhausted within 10-20 photos on the brightest setting. That's why I really like the optical finders that other people on here seem to hate.
In short: Bring lots of extra batteries or use an optical finder.

Hope that helps.

The GRIII is much better than the GRII. Brighter screen with air-gapless design which ups the clarity and brightness, and the outdoor view setting boost is very helpful.
