That's what Matti Sulanto calls it, anyway

I don't know how many/if any of the these features are "secret", but it is fun to see how enthusiastic the former Panasonic ambassador is about the diminutive powerhouses.

Snap focus is the go to feature of the camera, at least for me and well known as he admits.
Obviously he is familiar with the cameras and enthusiastic so it's all good.
Interval composite is one I've not used and he has reminded me to try it out.

Interesting that some people think selecting aperture||shutter speed||ISO is "mundane" and gets in the way of your shooting and creativity. To me it is those selections that help fulfill my vision and makes the picture mine instead of the wizardry of an automagic camera doing it.

The screen, yes there is. It can be done even if you are set to zone focus, just by touching the screen.
There is a whole menu of focusing options see page 57:

Yes, that's a feature I didn't know the GR3x had. Will try that out soon.
