So we've just heard it from the horse's mouth at Photokina: No Pentax FF in sight.
Will this stop the stupid FF rumours now?
I doubt it.

It's all just a clever ploy by Pentax to throw the media off the trail, and then when everyone is least expecting it: BAM!! A big FF announcement, with two bodies, 5 lenses, and a new top-of-the-line flash.

You heard it here first.

So it's a K-3D, then?

Two big sensors would make it the K-3DD... single APS-C version, well let me think K-3C.

Double sensors? Double mounts too then? Uh-oh... LBA²!

Who is this Noone person of which you speak? Would they buy a lot of K-5 II bodies?

If they have K5's, which is very likely, they'll probably hold off until FF anyway, even if it's not announced. Or they'll jump ship, off course.

But didn't adam write in the "Photokina interview" article on the frontpage that "FF is not a mere myth", according to Mr. Kawauchi?

What would be the point of all this cloak-and-dagger secrecy stuff if they actually have a product?

Are they afraid people may make plans/save to buy it? Why some people might even defer changing brands to get into FF!!
More like they want to minmize the time competition has to react to it. Kinda like all the flat black cars and trucks with fake body panels we see around here. Next years models being road tested. But, Pentax could still say they are working on one without releasing guarded trade secrets.

ohh you meant 'no one' not 'noone' (noon; mid day), Peter Noone, or even Craig Noone.
