I had to find out. I was on a mission. All this talk and rumors of FF had been killing me, so much so that I was about to do anything, I mean anything to find out if there is indeed a FF model coming out by our beloved brand Pentax Ricoh Imaging Company. So I bought a one way ticket to Japan, completely determined not to come back until I found out the truth.

Once landed there, I hopped onto Narita express and went directly to Shinjyuku, where Pentax Forum, a service center and showroom of sort where you can touch all Pentax models including 645d, is located. It took me a little while to find it, as the place was tucked under the ground level, partially hidden from a plain view of the street.

I walked in there, again with a determination of an used car sales man who had not met his quota at the end of the month. I was going to find out the truth, no matter what.

The very first person that I saw was a young girl of about 20, with a slender figure with large black eyes and long straight hair that nearly reached her waist line. She was not exactly my type, but it didn't matter; I reminded myself that I was to do anything it took to find out the truth. I then casually struck a conversation with this girl, first about how great 645d is and how lame D800E really was. It wasn't before long that I was able to score a dinner date with her that evening.

That night, with some help from Viagra pills, I was able to find out in the mist of her endless orgasm that yes yes yes and yes there was a FF being announced at Photokina this coming Tuesday.

Next morning, I left her apartment before she awoke, not wanting to disturb her conscious.

And so there was, indeed, a Happy Ending!

LOL.

I like where all this is going. Lots of rumours, a photoshop frenzy, now soft-core full-frame fan fiction.

That's the Lance Armstrong of rumours.

Now if you'd said she was "a larger but nevertheless stunning woman", then I would have believed that SHE was the Full Frame Model......boom, tish.

Am I actually the only one who finds it rather suspicious, that a GERMAN photography magazine would write in ENGLISH?
Well, I actually had a closer look at the twitter source and put the message found there through google translate and guess what: The source is no german photography magazine, but the on board magazine of the airline Germanwings! And to be honest: I doubt, they have any insight at what's happening at Pentax Ricoh...

btw: first time poster here, but long time Pentax user.

You mean if I went to the Pentax forum without my girlfriend I may have had a different experience?

I recommend a visit for anyone who is going to Tokyo by the way. The Pentax Forum isn't too hard to find, and it's a great chance to try out some gear.

Why use plural for sensors?

Pentax's new digital reflex camera, which comes equipped with full format sensors

I've got my local store asking me would I like a D600 as a side order to go (with my D800) and when I come in here it's still the same tragic scene of endless progostications. I hope to God Pentax releases a FF ASAP so the FF tragics in here can finally get a life. I'm addicted to reading as much as the next guy but the bubble is about to pop.
