Anyone that doubts Mike Svitek or that Ricoh would choose him to test drive the new super secret FF need to watch this professional in action talking about the Pentax system!

I do not doubt he genuinely likes the system. As for the rest... no comment

Definitely same body (or based around it) than a K7/K5.

Whoever Mike Svitek may be, and whatever Ricoh executives and contracts may say, I can very easily imagine a company giving its prototypes to select people exactly to create a pretend-"underground" pre-release buzz.

Nope, the K-5's prism is much flatter. This prism hump is more along the lines of the original Pentax cameras up to the 80's.

@Monochrome: just wanted to keep the fire alive but indeed, I have a deja vu feeling too

The initial K-7 marketing was viral like this - but more deftly handled.

Too much simple mistakes in Svitek's words...

The last few days I have fallen in love with my K5 again and chances are high that I am selling my fullframe-kit (5D) during this year. If Pentax comes up with one, I'll buy one with a 35, 50 and 85. If not, I am happy with the APS-C for my landscape/architectural stuff...
