I think you are on the money 100%. Ricehigh has not got a good track record on rumours. Esp. considering post (a while ago) about an even numbered AF system (i.e. the number of AF points)

A person like him is prone to attract trolls. The fact that he publishes anything doesn't really help with that.
It's pretty hard to get valid information if you're an insider. He's at the opposite side of the spectrum.

This is probably false.

If Adam knew about this, he would have posted a countdown on the front page, as he did for the K-30 and K-5 II announcements. Adam himself has stated that we shouldn't expect a full frame camera until 2014. I don't have much reason to believe this rumor.

He was pretty brash sharing the stuff he did, and when I challenged him on it, he thought he had a lawyer friend cover his back on the things he did say. NDA can't mean sharing those kind of details would be OK. Sounds like there's some truth in all this madness after all: He *was* under an NDA and as such *did* have a prototype he was betatesting, which he was quite happy to share was a FF camera with the same 24Mp sensor in the D600. But definitely no time frame for it to be announced. Yep, another year of waiting wouldn't go awry.

Perhaps Ricoh is angriest not about his blabbing he had one of their prototypes, but at his stated intent -- he was blabbing in order to prod them, in his small way, into releasing the thing as quickly as possible.
