Would you buy a Pentax Full Frame DSLR?

I was just wondering how many here would buy a Pentax Full Frame DSLR. I would.

Edit: (Assuming the camera is k-mount and top of the line. Time frame not important.. when available or two years later)

This was a 10 day poll.

When I am older and have more money, yes.
While I am young and broke, no.

No, I will not buy it, but I will complain incessantly about its unavailability until then.

Immediately upon release? I doubt it. Eventually (within 2 years of initial release), yes.

I often think I won't buy it, but then I realize I've spent more than the expected cost on Q stuff already this year, so I probably will.

Assuming I had the money, I'd be interested. The other question would be: what glass I be mounting on the end of what I'm sure would be a worthy camera? I have several M primes, but I'm thinking I'd also be looking for some zooms. Pentax would have to produce several new lenses for this venture as well. How long would that take? Unless I have money invested in some fine old (FA*) glass, it would almost be better to move to CaNikon for a better ff lens selection. Unless Pentax is producing full-frame compatible lenses in a bunker somewhere, I just don't think you'll see a full-frame for at least a few years...or longer...unless they can produce some sort of full-function eos adapter with which one could use Canon lenses. OK, sorry, I'm obviously off my meds. :-/

Without knowing cost, functionality, features, lens availability, etc. I don't know how anyone would know.

Yes I will, whatever the cost or the features, full frame sensor + k mount and I'm a buyer.

Another buyer, depending on how it compares to the K-5 in terms of DR/high ISO and resolution. And I have no problem with getting it without waiting for others to tell me how good (or otherwise) it is. It'll just be a matter of me test driving it in my own hands before buying it. I would think there would therefore be a lag period (being in Australia) between it being released and it appearing on the shelves in a B&M store.

This poll made it pretty clear that the next Pentax camera desired is a FF dSLR: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/general-photography-industry/209882-next-...oh-pentax.html

Lol, indeed. I just got my K-30, so maybe in a year or two, or as soon as I feel limited by the K-30 (which I think I am far from for now!).

TBH, would just like it if there was a FF Pentax, so the Canikons can stop going on about Pentax's lack of one (those that even know Pentax exists, ofc!)

II heard a rumour that Pentax had a FF DSLR ready to go called K 3, I guess we will wait to see if that materialises as a reality
