The question in the poll is as well designed as asking:

"Would you buy the nice used car from the stranger tomorrow paying cash?" yes/no.

Well everyone has a right to their own opinion. I disagree and so do 80+ members who have voted. I'm curious of what the demand is for a Full Frame and I think it would be nice for Pentax (and Jim Malcolm) to see what the demand is from the few on this forum. Also they don't even have to be a member as they'll be able to see the results when the pull closes in a week.

Yes, I would buy one. More importantly, at this point, would be the longer term planning I could do relative to Pentax Lenses. Right now I am simply not sure I want to invest money in high end glass that I may or may not end up keeping....

I've worked a ton of overtime since November just for this reason, and now finally have enough.

I just hope Pentax realises what a dedicated user base it has.

Because Pentax should make everything we ask for, without money to fund its R&D

By the way, I hope people realize it will take some time, maybe we won't see it until next year.

It was pretty obvious in 2011 that it was needed.

I have trouble believing the product cycle is 2.5 years, so this is 'on Ricoh' now.

Your 2-year window allows me to say yes. I cannot be an early adopter if it arrives "soon", but two years from now makes it more viable. And if not, well I'll still be a happy Pentaxian

Pentax Ricoh started in October 2011, there's a lot of work to do integrating two companies - we can be certain they couldn't start new products from day 1 - and no, nothing is "pretty obvious".

Assuming:
- The build quality is on par with K5
- the sensor performance exceeds K5
- The Mpixels are at least 24 for $1900 or 36mpixels for $2300
- They issue some good zooms for FF (16-28, 24-70, 70-200 all f2.8 at a minimum)
I would buy. No question. Other wise hello to Nikon.

Definitely not when it first becomes available, my lens line up is definitely APS-C centric at the moment.
The K-5IIs will be enough (too much!) for me to handle at the moment.

In the future who knows? I bought a Q kit on impulse the other day.
Not if it is a huge brick of a thing, but if the same/similar form factor as a K-5 then i'd be interested when the time comes.

I'm not interested in changing systems and joining the flock of sheep.

Well looking at the poll today, Pentax are gonna sell at least 104 FF bodies, in fact it's 105 because I need two.
