Howzat? LoL!
Hahaha. I honestly think the K-5 will last me a decade (if nothing breaks, "knock on wood"). I guess IŽll just have to clean it, buy new batteries, and sometime send it in to change bumpers, dust collector, seals..
The only limitation I could think of is if I wanted to print larger but up to now I never wanted/needed bigger than 24x16" (200dpi with 16Mpx K-5) and it looks good.

Get into panoramas and the 'limits' of a mere 16MP go away.

Well since lenses are named, I still love my idea for a new lens for Pentax and make then something special:

This DA*135-270mm/f2.8 would be one great lens to use for various options. No 70-200mm lens needed.

oooohhhh... I like the sound of this lens. Very yummy sounding, in either APS-C or FF formats.

if you have a 70-200 you know its a must and cannot be replaced by any other lens. you can crop from a 200 lens if you really need, but you cant get a larger field of view if y need. it could be a great lens for some sports...but never replace the old good 70-200
