Time to pick a date

Will it be sooner? Will it be later? Will it be never?

I say Tuesday Sept 17, 2013.

It kind of needs to be April 1st. I know for a fact that if I was planning the release, I wouldn't be able to resist it.

Does anyone know any auspicious dates in the Pentax calendar? Anniversaries of the founding of the company? Release of the first Asahi Pentax SLR?

Maybe such a date will provide a good symbolic hook to hang a big camera announcement on.

That is almost 13 years after Pentax showed it's first full frame DSLR .

As long as they don't pick August 6 or September 11 or December 7. All bad karma dates.

I think everyone who wants a Pentax ff camera should put $50.00 & their guess into a hermetically sealed mayonnaise jar. Said mayonnaise jars are to be mailed to pentaxforums.com. The person who comes closest without going over may put the $250.00 towards a shiny, new Pentax full-frame. If Pentax never comes out with a ff, the money goes towards a 645D.
