Full Frame tomorrow?

Do you think a Full Frame Pentax will be announced tomorrow?

Just wondering what the community is thinking

No chance.

I don't even think the K-5 successor, an APS-C camera, will be announced tomorrow either.

What will be announced according to rumor sites is the 360 degree ricoh camera

And I'll probably be the only person around here who is genuinely excited by the news... my username isn't "panoguy" for no reason!

Of course, I'll quickly cry that the sensor is too small to have decent quality, or that it doesn't do 360 video, etc.

Do those rumor sites say when the K-5 successor will be announced?

They don't know, but here's a leaked image of the rear of the camera, seems like a major rework of the button layout.

Seeing that its tomorrow over in Toyko right now - and there is nothing here on the Forum, it does not look like anything is going on...

I particularly like the "start/stop" buttons in place of the done-to-death shutter speed control.

I voted yes, just to break up the overwhelming barrage of no's.

The announcement is scheduled for 3pm CEST (or 6am pacific US, 9am eastern US), so we have a while yet.

I hope it's more than the 360 Theta mentioned on photorumors...

I will go 'yes' for a mock-up of a 1st draft of a FF camera. Not available until fall 2014 - then cleverly advanced to a midsummer release over the winter!
But please add a mockup of the Limited zoom, too...

Yes, they will do the full frame. Twitch has already leaked the back panel. The exciting bits at the front will be groundbreaking, as promised, and like no other digital camera before. I have been authorized to leak this photo of their prototype unit:

Pentax announced a (updated) line of lenses and flashes. That tells me they might announce a new camera to accept those new accessories. So, my guess is a K-3 (or whatever you want to call it) with a 20MP APS Sony sensor.
