Pentax Full Frame reveald at Salon de la Photo in Paris?

The headquarter for Pentax Europe is in Paris and the upcoming Salon the la Photo is maybe the excellent place to reveal that new and much wanted Full Frame camera.

So the optimist goes to Paris to see the FF.

All others just enjoy Paris.

For a free ticket to the event vote on the photographer and fill in the form on the bottom:

I was there in 2011:

Please, not again. It's too early for that, and besides Pentax just started an APS-C marketing
A meeting would be nice, though in my case it would probably have to wait 'till Photokina.

P.S. Even if it's in the wrong section, thanks for posting and I hope you'll cover this edition, too.

Nice, thanks!
I'm starting a photo school in Paris next week, so I think I'll definitely be there come November. It would be nice to meet other fellow Pentaxians!

Not really planning, but I would be mad if they did : it's only three hours by train from my city

Notice that picture doesn't support the "feature list" of a 100% viewfinder: larger mirror than K-5 but the same size prism housing. It appears a prism that fits wouldn't cover the area of the mirror - the focusing screen would have to be the same size as the K-5.

I don't think so. I think it will be the K-3 (or K-5 III) with an APS-C sensor

I thought it was concluded in other threads that that photo was photoshopped, so why drag it into this thread as well?

Yeah! we can expect their new universal screw mount lens also. There will be an announcement of an FF with Screw-U Mount.

That I think too, but somehow I think that the Salon this year would be the place to present this new camera. No other mayor events are hold this year.

Will there be an M42 to U adapter? Or do we need to place the K to U first and place the M42 to K in that?

The PDN PhotoPlus Expo is in October and both Sony (NEX-9) and Fuji are expected to have announcements.
