If they get it right, and have a swathe of fine D-FA lenses to combine with it, there will be interest. Image quality is getting so good in sub-APS-C format, that the FF DOF effect would be the chief driver behind pros and enthusiasts to get themselves into a Pentax FF. I think for that reason alone, it will be worth looking into.
Exactly right ! I mean personally I think that a K3 for somebody who primarily shoots telephoto or macro - is probably a better choice - especially if in the field - weather sealed, rugged, lightweight - with superb resolution and IQ . However the FF has some other qualities - which I was missing from the very begging of picking my first DSLR - a K10D. The moment when I looked through the viewfinder with my 58mm Helios that I carried over from my film days was just amazing - I couldn't believe my own eyes ( I was a rookie about digital photography back then ) - only after a year or two I understood fairly well what a 'crop factor'' is :P
For me personally the 2015 for a FF camera from Pentax sounds absolutely fine - I got more than enough good glass and both K10D and K-01 AND various film cameras will keep me busy
