No idea. I don't think I would simply scale up the focal lengths I like on APS-C, more likely I'll try and see what works better on the new format.
Probably I'll want to start with something like a 35-43mm (relatively) compact lens, perhaps some sort of a WR DC Limited.

I would bring a new HD AW 43mm/f1.9 out to go with the new FF camera.

My bet is that Pentax will come out with a 28-80 3.5-4.5. And offer HD AW 20-35/4 , 24-70/2.8, 70-200/2.8, with a premium price for this AW.

i think that they should do it for every FA ltd. Bring back / enhanced some mythical lenses (24/2 -135/2.5 - 200/2.5 bring them in f2 just to showcase some p0rn to other user brand).

I think Rioch will aim new user with it, not us, the already equipped in K/M/A lenses.

kitlens: 50mm f/1.4. Since I own a couple of them I don't need a kitlens ... just a kit-cam ;-) I am already counting days when I place my order, the question is just whether sony or ricoh will receive my money.

I agree with Joshua.

When Pentax introduced the Super A and the cheaper Program A and A3 in Germany, only the Super A was bundled with either the SMC Pentax-A 1.4/50 or the legendary SMC Pentax-A 3.5-4.5/28-80 (12/8 elements, in my opinion, still the best lens made in that range).

Wheras the Program A and the A3 where sold bundled with either the SMC Pentax-A 2.0/50 or the Pentax-A 3.5-4.5/28-80 (8/8 elements, standard coating, a rather average lens, also branded as Takumar-A and Profile-A, the latter made by the Taiwanese Asahi subsidiary Cosmicar).

EDIT
By the way, I remember that German photo magazines called the introduction of the SuperA a sensation - because Pentax was able to go on using the K mount and offering full compatibility with the K and M lenses.

I am not sure whether it is true, but they said the the competition was not able to continue with their previous mounts, as only the K-mount had used a travel of the aperture lever long enough to enable precise closing with shutter priority and P modes. Minolta, Canon, (and Nikon?/Olympus?) had to create new couplings without full compatibility to the old ones.

I already have a FA 20-35 as my "standard" lens on film camera, so I would clearly like a 24-105 f/4 kit lens to go with it !
FA prime lenses are, then, nice additions to this kit lens.
Even for beginners, it covers most of the basic needs, and a constant aperture of f/4 is enough.

Sure, f/2.8 high quality FA* zooms would be nice, but better placed as additional lenses rather than kit lens. Or maybe for "premium" kits ?
