Only my DA 15 would not be FF. I will be selling my FE 17-28 which is FF simply as do not use it much and now with the FA 20-35 even less need for it.

Even though all my lenses but one will work I see no reason for me to buy one.

My wife's two main lenses would not work and she has no desire to upgrade.

Is the DA 12-24 full frame? I have an F100 2.8, a A50 1.4, and the long stuff would work just fine.

Not sure if the FF-preparation was my main motivation, but I've just ordered FA* 28-70.

I have:

Pentax DA 10 -17mm (i might sell this one)
Pentax M 50mm f1.7
Pentax M 50mm f2.0
Vivitar 28mm f2.8 macro
Sigma 30mm f1.4 ART (This is an APS-C glass but according to Canon/Nikon users it can also work with FF without that much vignetting)
Tamron 17 - 50mm f2.8 ( i will sell this to get the 24 - 70mm )
Tamron 70 - 200mm f2.8 ( i will keep this one until i save enough to get the new Pentax 70-200 )

I want..
a new 50mm f1.4, and 85mm f1.4 or Pentax 77mm f1.7, and perhaps a wide angle.. like something between 15mm and 20mm

I have:

K55 1.8
K24 2.8
Bower 14mm 2.8
Sigma 24-60 2.8
Sigma 70-200 2.8
Sigma 150-500

All FF and ready to go. There are other lenses i want and hope to add - FA 77, Siggie 85, 35 macro, 30 art, etc etc - but ive consciously put my lenses together with FF in mind.

Edit: all that said, upgrading my k5 to the k3 might still take preference over the upcoming FF. Heck, i still want a GR too. We'll see, i guess.

Does that reduce the light captured or change the depth of field at all?

i still scratch my head about a wideangle (20/21 mm) ... the a20/2.8 would be quite good I guess however, I have not seen any used ones within the last months. there is definitely a hole to fill for pentax: 20mm f/5.6 limited WR. razor sharp, flare resistant and small.
The zeiss 21mm would be nice but its big ... and no zk version on ebay the last months

During 2014 I sold my DA 17-70, DA 70 Ltd, DA 15 Ltd and FA 35/2. Then I bought all the FA limiteds, FA J 18-35 and FA 20-35. This was my preparation for FF Pentax because I had quite strong feeling after CP+ 2014 interview with Pentax that the FF Pentax is coming.

So my camera bag is prepared for FF but my bank account is not.
