That also includes the new "kit" lens, FA* 10-400 f2.8.
This is retractable, right?

Completely into the body itself - like a P&S. It will also ship, no extra cost, with a 50/0.95 lens.

And it will take this kind of battery (shown with the optional low capacity option).
The removable storage...

Perhaps they will go the retro route (Fujifilm X-T1, Nikon Df) and design something akin to the MX or Super Program? Would be interesting. I doubt it though (at least initially) as that would definitely move into niche territory where as they currently need something with more mass market appeal. So we'll probably end up seeing something along the lines of the K-3 just slightly larger. And I'm perfectly fine with that

No battery, but powered by a small nuclear cell. Good luck getting one thru customs.

I hope it's typical Pentax. They're sort of the Subaru of cameras. Weird and functional.

I personally think it will be closer to the D810...may even share the sensor.
More of a general purpose/landscape camera than the sports/photojournalist monster D4s.

They're going after the 645Z (50Mp sensor?) so we're going after the bread 'n butter.

I just hope that will not be available for those who keeps saying ''Pentax is doomed''. I hope that will be a brilliant camera, and those ''Pentax is doomed'' posters will suffer many years, because they cannot reach that camera.

Yes, I'm a bad guy. So, I retract everything I have said before in this post. Sorry. Sorry, with cherries on top.

I hope they release 'Doomed' limited edition.

I think it will be a relatively small and inexpensive camera. At $8.5k for medium format, the full-frame must be substantially cheaper, so it won't be like Canon 1D and Nikon D4.
It will probably be more like D800 or D600 - $3000 at release and will drop within half a year.

Considering that this is an ''disturbing'' answer, and the fact, that, despite reading a lot of your posts, i never find something useful, I will put you on ignore list. Glad if you do the same with me.
