Since I already have a ton of FF glass, I will pick up a lens and body as soon as they are available.
I have waited too long for this to happen.
I will probably cry a little fan-girl tear when I finally hold the FF in my hands.
(I won't explain that if you don't understand)

Same here, it will be hard to not be emotional once I FINALLY get to hold one. Now, if this camera is a huge let down. To say I will be remiss is a vast understatement.

If they based it on the K7/K5/K3...it will be everything I imagined it to be.

Which is my hope, but I have heard so many rumors, i.e. Ricoh GR FF(no thanks) Possible mirrorless comparable to the A7. NO, I want a real FF camera, that feels nice in my hand like every other Pentax. If that does happen somewhere in California a grown man may be crying.

Up to $1300 Body Only..... and like 8 months after the camera is released (not an early adopter, because in my country there are not any kind of warranty)

Have All These Good Lenses

I hope to spend very little on lenses since the FA's and F's I have should theoretically work.

I hope the new body and one of the newly-designed FF lenses can be had for less than $4,000 together - but I doubt it.

Nothing for at least a year. Well, let me qualify that. If I make any lens purchases in the next year (nothing planned at present), perhaps I am more likely to opt for a FF-capable lens in preference to APS-C-only. Just to future-proof it. That was in part why my last purchase was the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 rather than the Sigma 18-35 f/1.8.

By the way, let me ask a question. Do current FF cameras from other manufacturers still have "crop modes", where they revert to APS-C if an APS-C only lens is attached? I know the early Nikon FF did that, but I haven't kept up with it since. Can it be over-ridden? Many Pentax APS-C lenses are FF-capable if stopped down enough.

Sony does. I think there is a way to disable it... can't remember exactly right now. I think I did see an option for it!?

Edit:
Yep, you can disable and it will show the full image circle.

Umm, we need option $0, so we can know how many of us are there and, maybe, I don't know, form a union.
I really need that option! haha

It won't be mirror less.
The new lenses are conventional K mount.
I like a good Ricoh bashing now and then, but they are not stupid.

Ricoh will grab the low-hanging fruit, give us a conventional dSLR, and enter into the FF market.
There might be one or two features, but it will be a Pentax like we expect.

Usually Pentax only produces one pseudo-flop at a time to test the waters, and it's a toss up over the Theta, KS-1 or the new form factor WR camera.

Nah, the FF is going to be exactly what we have been asking for.
The 645z is a runaway success, and shows that Pentaxians overall want serious cameras.

This new FF will fit perfectly in the space between the K3 and 645z.

It will be awesome.
