Looking at the prices for lenses, both zooms are above $ 2000 then the FF body isn't going to be cheap I guess..

Interesting 75% of respondents cannot afford a FF camera as their budget constraints don't match reasonable FF costs.

Could explain why Pentax has been so reticent with a FF offering ?

That 75% (assuming the poll is accurate) cannot or will not pay for FF probably applies to the Canikon user base, too. Most entry level Canon T3 users never upgrade to FF. Ricoh's challenge is that they are starting from a relatively tiny user base.

I think that Pentax are aiming more for the pro-marked, then the concumer-marked with the FF anyway! Samme with the new lenses for the FF.

FF budget

Assuming it has the features I expect it to have, if the body plus grip price comes in under $2,500 I'll be pleased, under $2,000 and I'll be ecstatic. I won't be able to get any new HD glass at either price, but all my current lenses should work well enough. Might finally sell my MZ-S ...

Definitely a body, probably the 150 - 450mm, once convinced, will get a 43.

I hope the new body and one of the newly-designed FF lenses can be had for less than $4,000 together - but I doubt it.
With new information (pre-order prices on the two lenses) make that less than $5,000, together.

I might get the 150-400 for the K-3 instead of the DA*300 and 1.4x TC.

The FF + Grip and the 70~200/2.8 (@ $5,000 +/-) will be a stretch.

My K-30 is doing just fine, so I'm in no hurry. I will wait for the price to drop, read the reviews, and see how the camera is received before I decide whether I even want one. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy this is finally happening and I look forward to finding out more about the camera.

Unfortunately probably 0€ since I now prefer mirrorless cameras.

Considering that FF might cost more I should change my rate to 2000-3000. But if it is gonna cost more, I'll buy D645 instead. Used.

Looking at the poll results, I see that most people are setting themselves up for disappointment.
Lets hope that Ricoh isn't setting themselves up for a (sales)disappointment.

If their record with the K-01, the Q and other initial introductions are an indication then I will be pleasantly surprised if the body is priced somewhere south of $5K.

If they do intend to go for the pro market they have some serious catching up to do in the lens department. Those two new entries are a nice start but they will need a lot more than that to even think of competing with Canikon.

The pro market?
People throw that around a lot like the "pro market" means a well defined set of homogeneous requirements.

The "pro market" means landscape, photojournalist, sports, wildlife, theater, fashion, architecture, food, weddings, outdoors/adventure etc etc.
Pentax go after a couple of those genres in real short order with what they already have (and some marketing).

chose 2-3k, only buying body, hoping for an irresistible price (of course), which to me is below 2.5k... At or above 2.5k is hold off. Above 3k is forget it time.

I shoot a lot of jewelry for a big customer. Even though I also have FF and APS-C in my arsenal, I mostly use the Q with K-mount adapter and macro lens for that. Especially for the smaller details. The DOF quickly becomes to narrow at macro levels with the larger formats.
