Well, yes, but what many of us fear is that the uncertainty caused by the long silence will cause sales to be lost to the A7Rii which will be in peoples hands several months before the Pentax FF is promised to be available. They really should try to put out some information to try to stave off that exodus. By now they must have the specs firmed up even if they are still working on firmware. Just some indication of features, sensor size etc.

Unfortunatly I take a Ricoh Imaging Community notification for the News Letter of Ricoh Imaging Company it is not an annoucement it only the wish of a Pentax user

I am deeply sorry for the confusion but it look like so logical and the post look like an announcement it was easy to make the mistake

I fully agree your opinion.

Perhaps. But they have already announced the FF so information about it should not impact the ASP-C cameras any more than it already has.

I actually would love to see a K-01 full frame version but I suspect it is only a dream.

Pentax did completely surprised the market once by introducing 3 completely new full frame, k-mount, cameras at the same time. I believe Pentax is the only camera company ever to do that.

It would be a wonderful deja vu if it happened again.

Me too! Well, with a higher frame rate for raw shooting than the K-01 has....

They simultaneously had three 'S' cameras.

Very true but the M42 cameras were originally introduced over a period of time, not at the same time. The K2, KX and KM were all introduced together when Pentax moved to the bayonet mount.

It's not really a problem, as long as you're robbing your own bank account

DA lens on FF K-1 body

So what would the picture look like if you did use a DA lens on the new K-1 body? Would the picture just be smaller because the lens couldn't fill the FF sensor? IQ changes?
