Ricoh will presumably continue to make APS-C DSLRs (at least for a while).
K-1 would eat into the continuity of the present range. (Unless you don't plan to stay in business very long, why start a series of models at 7 with decreasing numbers? and then only use odd numbers!?)
Now would be a good time for Ricoh to start afresh and think ahead: separate name series for FF and APS-C with continuity in mind and clarity as to which series is FF and which is not.
If the first FF was K-1, where would they go next? They would end up like Canon with their 1Ds, 1Dx, followed by Mark XXII > MCLXIX (joking, a little).

My guess is K-2, like the second highest mountain, analogous to the 645z being the highest and the FF being the second highest, the K-3 being third.

I think K-820 name sounds right; someone may have a recommendation to buy the D810 but figured that k-820 would be better since it is the latest. You never known...

Whynaut K1000? That would be a nice number. I wish Pentax had a clearer naming protocol, like the bigger the number the better the camera (because if we go smaller like how it used to go, then what to do after K-1?)
