If Pentax comes out with something basic but sturdy, full frame, maybe retro to substitute a K1000, for entry level photographers and pair it with the new FF body (KLX or LXD), aperture and speed controls on the grip, it will probably have the success of the K1000 film camera. Many film photographers had the K1000 body as a back up body, just in case... The only one thing that the Film K1000 lacked was a dof preview button. That could be the Pentax KD1000☺In fact, that could easily become the most recommended (by friends and teachers) body for entry level photography students and used as a back-up body for advanced and pro's.
