Really that sucks. I thought you could convert any lens via the service but I guess not.

On the plus side the Pentax FF isn't coming out for awhile, so lots of time for Sigma to change their minds
Sigma and Tamron are going the quantity business.. if they dont sell K mount they just stop doing it..or they release lenses ( like Sigma ) that have more rotation ( lower priced lenses ).. for example Sigma have in the Art series the 30, 35 and 18-35 f1.8.. but they dont have the rest because are more "pro" oriented.. with the release of a FF, there will be some amount of people shooting Pentax at a pro level so they could release this lenses.. hopefully this can happen in the future. I'll love to have a Sigma 50mm Art.

Pentax SMC FA 31mm f/1.8 AL Limited.

In silver.

Then I'd first take a picture of the combo (with my K-5 II).

Next, I'd take a shot with the FF + FA 31/1.8.

Wide open. Off a subject close by, with some detail, but lots of bokeh potential in the background.

Before I'd review the shot, I'd sit down.

Finally, ...

What's the first lens you would mount on your new FF Pentax DSLR?
It will be one of the "Ladies" who vies for my attention the most at the time.

Just now I'm favouring my “Mistress" (SMC Pentax-A 15mm F3.5), her being back to her former wide self.

Most likely FA 20-35/4.
FA* 24 is my second candidate.

Im also discussing a pre FA-body enablement, the 43 Ltd. That would fit nicely between FA* 24 and FA* 85.

I'll have plenty of time deciding, but thats my thoughts right now.

I would probably mount my 85mm f/1.4 A (MF) lens and make a portrait of an attractive woman.

I'd probably go FA 77 and take a picture of my son and wife.

I have a feeling that the FA77 will be glued to that camera for a very long time....

Likely my SMC-M 20mm f4 as the FOV only gets dramatic on FF.

Nikon still makes their manual focus NIKKOR Normal 50mm f1.2. That is a great price for such a lens.
If you saw the image quality from it you would think otherwise. Manually focusing such a lens with the low magnification viewfinders that are common in Nikon bodies these days is no fun at all.

If I had not sold all my K-mount gear I would choose the 10-17 fisheye as that was my first lens (by 2 days). Then I would just go down the list.

My Tokina 10-17, which I believe is optically the same, works ~14-17 on FF.

Unfortunately, I do not have a dog, either.
